FUN!! You want to have fun and break targets, and we want you to have fun and break targets! Your goals – what you want to achieve or how you want to improve – will help guide our sessions.
Beginning shooters will enjoy a relaxed teaching philosophy, and get to the shooting quickly after reviewing basic safety items. Remember, the basic skills which allow us to be successful shots are simply being able to acquire the targets visually, connect with the target through our hands, and trust in our natural abilities to make a successful shot (Focus, Movement, Trust). As our sessions progress, we may offer guidance on gunfit, suggest at-home practice tips, and teach you how to set up for the various target presentations.
Novice or more experienced shooters will benefit from a “fundamentals review”. We can smooth out the move/mount, improve your target focus, and work on a “shooting plan” or “pre-shot routine.” You will see how sharp focus on the target takes the pressure off and visually slows down the targets resulting in a more relaxed shooting experience.
